The Ladies of LURe celebrate Police Week

Grab your furry handcuffs, dust off that sexy police uniform you wore last Halloween, and join the Ladies of LURe this Saturday, May 18 as they host their annual BARE: Police Appreciation Night, a culminating celebration of National Police Week. Hosted at Cobalt, this night offers more than just your typical Saturday night out. The Ladies of LURe have coordinated an event that provides women in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area with the chance to party with a purpose. This time, they are honoring those who selflessly serve and sacrifice for the safety and solidarity of our community.

Health and Community Organizations Come Together for TransPride

Since its inception in 2007, Capital TransPride has continued to provide the Washington D.C. transgender community and its allies with a safe and open forum to connect with one another. The event gives participants access to receive support and services, and learn about various issues facing the transgender community.
